# Introduction to Haptix

> Non-custodial smart contract wallet for Solana Mobile and the Seeker ecosystem, securing assets with hardware-bound WebAuthn passkeys.

# Welcome to Haptix

**Haptix** is a non-custodial smart contract wallet built specifically for **Solana Mobile** and the **Solana Seeker** phone.

Instead of relying on fragile 12-word seed phrases stored in memory, Haptix secures assets using **WebAuthn Passkeys** backed directly by your phone's hardware security enclave (e.g., Apple Secure Enclave, Android StrongBox / Keystore, or FIDO2 hardware keys).

## The Problem with Traditional Solana Wallets

1. **Seed Phrase Vulnerability:** A single leaked or screenshotted 12-word phrase results in an immediate total drain of the wallet.
2. **All-or-Nothing Signing:** Everyday coffee payments require the same authority as your life savings; there is no separation between checking and vault funds.
3. **No Autonomous Delegation:** Traditional private key wallets cannot safely delegate micro-actions to AI trading bots or automated strategies without risking 100% of wallet funds.
4. **Device Loss = Total Loss:** If you lose a phone without a backed-up seed phrase, your assets are unrecoverable.

## The Haptix Architecture on Solana

Haptix solves these problems at the blockchain level using the **Anchor framework** and native **NIST P-256 (secp256r1) WebAuthn precompiles**:

### 1. Off-Curve Program-Derived Addresses (PDAs)

Every Haptix wallet is an off-curve Solana PDA governed strictly by the Haptix Anchor program (`9wC1ok8d4PrBDG3TS7iyEu9QxMCYv6BKrdLb3q4yZbke`). No private key exists for the wallet address—only authorized biometric passkeys can unlock operations.

### 2. Dual-Device Vault Mode (Checking vs. Savings)

* **Checking (≤ 0.1 SOL / 20 USDC / 50 SKR):** Everyday low-value transactions execute with a swift **1-tap biometric passkey**.
* **Vault (> Threshold):** High-value transfers automatically escalate to require a **2-of-2 Hardware Passkey Quorum** (e.g., Phone + YubiKey/Touch ID).

### 3. Timelocked Guardian Social Recovery

Rescue your wallet if your phone is lost or damaged. An on-chain guardian initiates key rotation, freezing the wallet for a 24-hour dispute window. If unauthorized, the owner can veto instantly with **Keep My Keys**. Once the timelock passes, keys rotate to your new device while your wallet address and balances remain completely intact.

### 4. Gasless Devnet Paymaster

New users onboard with zero initial SOL balance. The Haptix relayer treasury sponsors account initialization and rent fees on Solana Devnet, granting **100 SKR** Seeker Genesis tokens to immediately test autonomous trades.

## Core Pillars

* **Zero Seed Phrases:** Hardware enclave-enforced passkey biometrics.
* **On-Chain Governance:** Cryptographically enforced spending limits for SOL, USDC, and SKR.
* **AI Agent Delegation:** Scoped session keys with daily budget caps.
* **Asymmetric Guardian Recovery:** Lost-phone rescue without giving guardians unilateral custody.
