Terms of Service

Last Updated: October 2026 Welcome to Haptix. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Haptix mobile application (Android / Solana Mobile Seeker), dual-device web vault, and associated Solana Anchor smart contracts (collectively, the “Software”). By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to these Terms.

1. Nature of the Service

Haptix provides non-custodial smart wallet software engineered natively for Solana Mobile and the Seeker ecosystem. It allows you to manage cryptographic assets on Solana and interact with decentralized applications, including delegating cryptographically-bounded on-chain execution authority to AI agents.

1.1 Non-Custodial Architecture

Haptix is fully non-custodial. We do not have access to your private keys, passkeys, biometric data, recovery phrases, or funds. Your passkeys are generated and securely stored in your device’s physical hardware enclave (e.g., Android Keystore with StrongBox / Titan M2, Apple Secure Enclave, or hardware WebAuthn authenticators).

1.2 User Responsibility

Because Haptix is non-custodial, you are solely responsible for securing your device and configuring recovery mechanisms. If you lose access to your primary and backup hardware authenticators without configuring a Guardian Recovery mechanism, your assets will be permanently inaccessible. We cannot recover your funds or reset your passkeys.

2. AI Agent Delegation (Session Keys)

Haptix allows you to generate and delegate “Session Keys” to autonomous AI agents or third-party applications, which authorize execution subject to strict on-chain rules (the “On-Chain Policy Engine”).
  • You are strictly responsible for setting appropriate spending limits and daily budgets for any agent you authorize.
  • We do not control, endorse, or assume liability for the actions of any third-party AI agent you connect to your Haptix Smart Account.

3. Guardian Social Recovery

Haptix provides a smart-contract-based Guardian Social Recovery feature.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that the address you designate as a Guardian is secure, trusted, and accessible.
  • We are not responsible for funds lost due to a compromised Guardian or an improperly configured recovery timelock.
  • The 24-hour grace period allows wallet owners to veto any unauthorized recovery proposal using their registered device passkeys.

4. Risks & Disclaimers

Using cryptographic assets, smart contracts, and decentralized networks involves significant risks.
  • Smart Contract Risk: While our smart contracts undergo testing and audits, there is an inherent risk of vulnerabilities, bugs, or exploits in any software or on-chain logic.
  • Network Risk: We do not control the underlying blockchain networks. Transactions may be delayed, fail, or incur varying transaction costs based on network conditions.
  • Asset Risk: The value of cryptographic assets is highly volatile and subject to market forces and regulatory changes.

5. “As-Is” Software

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS, DEVELOPERS, OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Software for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose, including but not limited to money laundering, financing terrorism, or violating sanctions programs.
